What is the Professional Women's Group (PWG)?

We are a networking organization for the women of Dress for Success. A place to empower yourself. A place to give back.

What happens at a PWG meeting?

We have a networking time in the beginning and then we have a speaker who shares in their area of expertise so that we may empower ourself through additional education of an important topic/subject.

What kind of topics and subjects are taught and discussed in the PWG?

WHEN: 2nd Thursday of each month, 5:30 - 7:30
(Networking time available 30 minutes before meeting)

All events are open to clients who are employed full-time or enrolled in school.

The monthly group is always in need of speakers on a variety of topics, donations or in-kind sponsorship of meals, professional tools such as portfolio's, give-aways, etc.

Sponsor a Professional Women's Group

Sponsoring a Professional Women's Group is an easy and exciting way for your company to support Dress for Success Worldwide and our mission ofpromoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Sponsoring a PWG is also a great way to connect with your community, thus fostering social responsibility.

As a PWG Sponsor you can help us with:

  • Gifts: Small appreciation gifts or care packages for PWG members.
  • Refreshments: Provide light refreshments, beverages and necessary supplies.
  • Invitations: Print PWG meeting invitations outlining meeting details: speaker topic, date and location of meeting, directions, etc. Only 50 invitations for monthly meetings. Dress for Success is responsible for mailing invitations.
